I resigned as Director of RSH today. The adventure of a Stage Hire business has been awesome, but not something I was ever good at or able to cope with the long distances and late night hours in muddy fields with such a young family - I was never able to give it more of what it needed after it started to grow in size and reputation. Rolling Stage Hire started out in 2014 as a cheeky bid on an outside broadcast unit belonging historically to GCap Media (global radio, capital, heart etc - its final livery was Star 107.7fm (before global radio killed local radio (by syndicating and killing local radio brands (including stopping costly outside broadcasting (for more time and airplays of rubbish repeated music tracks such as UK number 2 1999 track ...Torn by Natalie Imbeulia (rather than outreach work in the community they serve)))))). We won the truck and took it to our friends at the BBC (the team who looked after our BBC Blast truck in Ultralab/Cleveratom days) - they laughed, it cost us more to refit it to be operational than it did to buy it on eBay.
