Five years ago .... we were about to take over the Marconi Water tower and turn it into a community radio hub.... and then the developer (who spent Section 106 cash on the refurbishment as part of the deal to be allowed…

Five years ago .... we were about to take over the Marconi Water tower and turn it into a community radio hub.... and then the developer (who spent Section 106 cash on the refurbishment as part of the deal to be allowed to develop the former factory site) reversed on a deal and changed the rent from £1 a year to £40000 a year. We walked away. The tower is still empty. I expect the developer will convert to flats or offices one day after not finding a tenant. Go figure.
