Just before Christmas I was hurried into the CCR Radio Studio by Michelle to see Lauren, Lauren has been a volunteer on our station for some time... She does a drivetime show, helps young people access radio, and is a unique talent on air. "Shhhhhh, they said, you cannot tell anyone... Lauren has just been hired by Radio Essex." We set CCR up as a volunteer based community radio station in 2013 to be a place where people of all ages and abilities could access broadcasting and develop... we've had volunteers move from us to paid employment with BBC, Bauer, Global and other broadcasters around the world... Lauren joins a proud list... and has accessed the station for its exact purpose... to grow and develop her skills, while supporting others, so proud of her.... good luck Lauren....
