Ryan update… It’s taken five years of paperwork, medical assessments, meetings, challenges, explaining, listening, learning, waiting, and tons of hoops and red tape… but for those that have followed our story…. we finally got the letter to say the education board had met and after carefully considering Ryan….. Ryan has successfully been accepted into a specialist school with small class sizes and a personalised and fully supported learning plan. The relief, is enormous… but the pride in him for never ever giving up and looking each day in the eye, and giving his everything… is even more enormous. It was never about Ryan not fitting school… it was always about how School didn’t fit Ryan… never, ever give up. He starts in September.
