A year ago today, we closed the coffee shop for good. A year later it remains closed. Sadly, the state of the economy, the cost of living crisis, the changing buying habits since Covid, and the changes to the way people work, how they work, and their work life balance mean that, in my opinion, that particular location can never work as a coffee shop ever again. We made it work for nearly 9 years though, until the world went weird.
