Seven years ago today, in 2016, six-year-old Ryan made an appearance on the radio station to discuss his week of caring for the Class Teddybear, ‘Gingerbread Ted.’ Each class member took a turn with the bear, the task was to have an adventure. In Ryan’s case, he took the bear to the radio station. One fun moment was when Ryan pointed out to Simon the presenter that the bear couldn’t talk, in response to Simon’s question about the bear having its own radio show. Later that same night, at the Chelmsford Firework Display, Ryan accidentally misplaced Gingerbread Ted, leading to a frantic search amid the fireworks. We eventually found the lost class teddybear in the stagetruck cab after looking for about an hour, and not wanted to be the parents who lost the class teddy bear. Click the video to play the clip.
