Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! This year, we discovered Dad's TV appearance from 48 years ago – a clip he never had, thinking it was lost when the BBC cleared tapes. In 1975, he sent a funny ode to BBC's That's Life, it is read by Cyril Fletcher. Age 31, you can spot him in the audience, having traveled to London from his home in Brightlingsea with his father, who sadly passed away suddenly two years later and wasn't featured. Dad turns 80 next year. In 1978, he met and married Mum, and I was born in 1979, followed by Andrew in 1981. We found the recording two weeks ago, showing Dad just before Christmas.
