Adventure 3, unplanned. With the work van breaking down, being recovered and then the garage saying they couldn’t recreate the fault (?!?) took the decision to take the family camper to Scotland to the new Escape Room location, stopping on the way at Chesterfield venue to see how they were getting on at converting ‘The Governor’ to ‘Rob the Bank 2’… arrived in Chesterfield town at midnight, too late for a hotel and campsite decided to try ‘stealth camping’ for the first time ever… which involved finding a suitable spot and then jumping into the back of the van in the dark to sleep while not being obviously in it. Woken by traffic (parked on a busy road (was quiet at 1am))…Then, after Chesterfield visit…. a four hour drive north to Scotland …. saw the sign for Lockerbie Memorial… stopped… walked through a huge graveyard to the peace garden memorial at the back, so sad, yet so peaceful. Explored the older part of the graveyard after, love how Scottish graves used to list what people did for a living. Then found a campsite near a loch, and exploring tomorrow, and sitting and writing the final bits for the new games. None of this would have happened if the work van didn’t break down…
