With the sadness of the plane crash this morning in Ahmedabad, I have been in a flurry of back and forths with friends and colleagues in Ahmedabad this morning, some very close to the crash site. We work closely with Ahmedabad (and other parts of India) on various projects and genuinely feel for what are a lovely people in a beautiful city. First adventure to Ahmedabad was back in 2011 when Hal and I won a big contract but didn't have the software (eek)... so I flew to Ahmedabad and met some development companies and got it built in three months flat. The software is still in use today and has saved the UK Government millions of pounds in training and development costs. These photos from the 2017 trip (where they upgraded (by sheer blagging) an upgrade to First Class on the flight home - love Indian people). Thoughts with Ahmedabad, everyone should go there, its awesome.
