Today Andrew and I headed to Penn’s Cave near Centre Hall in Pennsylvania… which is the only all-water cavern tour in America. Basically you get in a boat and for 45 minutes you drift through this huge underground cave system. The cave was discovered back in 1885 and has been running tours for well over 100 years now. Before heading there we stopped at Brothers Pizza down the road in Centre Hall… which felt like the most appropriate possible place to eat before going underground with your brother. Penn’s Cave itself was actually brilliant. Dark tunnels, rock formations everywhere and a unique tour. The guide was telling loads of stories and history as we went round… absolutely worth doing and unlike anything we’ve done before. America is really good at this sort of attraction… they lean into it properly. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip so far.
